Bwindi Impenetrable National Park covers a small area but packs a big punch in terms of wildlife conservation, most famously protecting an estimated 400 mountain gorillas.
In addition to gorilla, the park boasts 120 mammal species including elephant and antelope, and over 350 species of bird. It is considered one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth and is among Uganda's oldest and most varied rainforests, dating back over 25,000 years and containing almost 400 species of plants. The park is scenically quite spectacular, full of lush bamboo forests and hardwoods.

And, of course, the gorilla trekking experience is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will leave you in awe of these majestic creatures. But it's not just about the gorillas but the overall experience with the local tribes.
Day 1Arrival into Nairobi

Day 2​ Transfer to Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge
Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for a scheduled flight to Kisoro. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, arriving in time for lunch.

Day 3Gorilla Trekking
​
Early morning breakfast at the lodge.
Transfer to Park HQ with your packed lunch for a briefing before gorilla trekking. Trekking can last between thirty minutes and eight hours, but once you discover the gorillas, you will be able to spend one unforgettable hour with them.
Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Spend the night at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge
Day 4 Transfer to Cape Town

Breakfast at the lodge.

Transfer to Kisoro Airstrip for your scheduled flight (0830H/1125H) to Entebbe Airport from where you will catch your outbound flight.

Arrival & Departure
Plan to arrive at Nairobi International Airport on Day 1. We will be departing from Entebbe International Airport to travel to Cape Town as a group. In country flight pricing below
WEATHER​
Plus, as temperatures hang between 63ºF (17ºC) and 81ºF (27ºC), embarking on game drives is enjoyable with the proper rain gear. Be prepared for the unexpected when it comes to weather, and October can be a great time to visit Uganda.

Upon arrival to Nairobi, You will be met and assisted with customs and immigration formalities. Meet your driver guide who will transfer you to Latitude Zero hotel. There you will be checked in and be able to refresh and grab a bite or relax in your room.
