Day 1Arrival into Cape Town

Day 2​ Table Mountain & Bo-Kaap

The group will drive to the lower cable car station to take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain 1000m above the city for an amazing welcome.

Explore the Bo-Kaap an important heritage area of Cape Town. Be invited into a local families home to learn how to make some local dishes and enjoy the meal with the family

Day 3Cape of Good Hope & Penguins

After traveling south from Cape town along the scenic coast Guest will explore the Famous “Cape of Good Hope "and Cape Point the most south western point of the African continent.

Boulders Penguin Colony allows the guests up close and personal contact with these delightful, cheeky and clever birds

Day 4 Transfer to Winelands

Today we will have time to explore the historical towns and enjoy sampling the wines and fine dining experiences.

Relax under the great oaks in front of the historical Cape Ducth Manor homestead and enjoy award winning local wines with handmade chocolates.

Day 5 Great White Shark Diving

We head to where National Geographic has filmed some of the most well known shark documentaries, “Gaans Baai”!

For the not so brave hearted one can also get amazing views from the boat, but the thrill is to get into the water with the sharks!

Day 6Transfer to Kruger National Park
​
Spanning over 15,000 hectares of pristine South African bush, Kapama offers the perfect sanctuary for a wide variety of wildlife.
Whether it’s relaxing around the pool, going for a walk through the bush with one of our skilled guides or lounging at our spa and wellness centre, there is no schedule at Kapama and the only requirement is to make treasured memories.

Kapama’s legendary game drives and guided bush walks offer guests the opportunity to explore diverse landscapes and prolific wildlife. Our twice-daily game drives and educational bush walks (both included in the tariffs) are an essential part of the Kapama experience. Accompanied by a skilled guide and assistant guide, our game drives are a highlight of the day and encountering some (or all!) of the Big Five is a very definite possibility.

Arrival & Departure
Plan to arrive at Cape town International Airport (CPT) after 4pm on Day 1. Your departure flight should be after 3pm on Day 8. We will be departing from johannesburg International Airport (JNB).
WEATHER​
There's an average temperature of 28°C (82*F) in October, which is perfect for relaxing on the beach or doing some exploring. You'll have around 12 hours of sunshine per day with just 11mm of rainfall spread over the month. Further south, temperatures are slightly cooler with a daily average of 16°C and highs of 21°C.
